Solar Windelo Bed & Breakfast - Mindelo

The place was great and lovely and the staff were helpful, the location was marvellous down the hill. The whole room was nicely decorated and had a microwave, an individual safe, and climate control. I truly enjoyed sea view. Location: the hotel was short walk to the beach, the bay and other islands and the city centre. Stayed for 2 days and did not want to leave, I will definitely go again next time...

Everything in this lovely little hotel was very good, we really enjoyed it. Our stay there was pleasant.

The rooms are spacious and come with a balcony - I had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Waking up to a great breakfast 🍳 with a beautiful view. the staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. the location was perfect, just a short stroll to everywhere. the downtown area was fantastic, we really enjoyed exploring there.

Breakfast and beautiful view

The breakfast available every morning was tasty and filling, and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. The location was also convenient to nearby attractions.

The noise levels were extremely high due to the structure of the building, and the room was not what was advertised. The photos online showed a different view than the actual view we received from our room.

I recently stayed at Solar Windelo in Mindelo for a few days and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The view from our spacious room and balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful harbor and city. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the waterfront and ferry terminal. We even rented bikes nearby, thanks to the owner's recommendation. The breakfast provided a great selection of yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, delicious coffee, and everything we needed for a tasty toasted sandwich. I highly recommend staying here for a fantastic experience!

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is very close to the city center and just a short walk down to the beach. You will find yourself right in the heart of the action, with easy access to all the sights and sounds of the city.

All was satisfactory, nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was very good with fresh fruits and juices, and a tasty omelette. the hotel was located within walking distance from the beach and downtown. We loved the historic building atmosphere.

Our romantic escape turned out to be a disappointment. the room had a strange smell and the bed was extremely squeaky.
